Our Editorial Rule

Every resource we recommend must genuinely help you regardless of whether it pays us. We recommend plenty of things that earn us nothing — free calculators, community resources, and plain tactics like calling your card issuer. Compensation never changes what we recommend or the order we show it in; recommendations are generated from your own spending data, not from partner relationships.

What This Looks Like in Practice

When your report shows a finding (for example, credit-card interest), we may show relevant ways to fix it. Some are methods with no links at all.
